4.    HIGH SCHOOLS ON THE BLOCK
Join Kathy for a look at various “block” schedules for high school and the pros and cons of each type. Participants will then have the opportunity to look at their own schedule IN-DEPTH 
(small group work) and find ways to make the schedule work better for their students. Finally, participants will learn and share great instructional strategies for teaching in those longer periods of time, learn about the Primacy-Recency Effect, and investigate the world of lesson design.
